Snowlinux is a set of Linux distributions based on Debian's latest stable release and four different desktop environments.
It aims to be user-friendly, incorporating many useful tweaks and carefully selected software applications to improve the work environment without losing the stability and performance of Debian.
Linux is getting more popularity and should be as easy as Microsoft Windows.
We also develop a second, separate Linux distribution which is a Ubuntu-based edition featuring the Gnome Shell and MATE (a fork of Gnome 2) desktop.

Intruducion SnowMenu

For the next Snowlinux 2 "Cream" we coded an own MATE menu. It is derived by the MintMenu and it was made a big improvement in relation to the usabilty, stability and speed. There were brought more functionality for example pinning favorite and usually used programs in the favorite docking bar on the left side.
